To date, we have produced over 50 professional Spanish-language translations for several major publishers, including Reformation Trust, Poiema Publicaciones, as well as Crossway Books and Harvest House Publishers. In 2016 we finished the Spanish translations of Global Church Planting and Encountering Theology of Mission , both academic titles used at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (TEDS) and co-authored by TEDS professor Craig Ott. Estos serán publicados en colaboración con Poiema Publicaciones. These will be published in collaboration with Poiema Publicaciones. During this year, we also continued to expand our services to include print and digital publishing, securing rights for the Spanish-language versions of several titles from EP Books, Christian Focus Publications, InterVarsity Press, Tyndale, and Compass: Finances God’s Way.

A highlight for 2016 was that we became the designated Spanish translation partner for all Latimer Trust content.

Pictured above are some of the books we plan to publish in 2016/17. We hope to have the titles by Lee Gatiss, Danny Hyde and Mark Jones ready for the 2017 Soli Deo Gloria Conference in Chile where Lee, Danny and Mark will be featured speakers. Up until 2016, most of our work was done pro bono or at cost for other like-minded ministries and publishers. Given the growing need for quality Christian content in Spanish, we decided to enter into print and digital publishing ourselves, expand our translation team for all our own publications and those we continue to produce in collaboration with other publishers. You can help us take this content into Spanish, publish additional titles and reach the Spanish speaking world with quality Christian content. Todo lo que se necesita es muchas pequeñas donaciones individuales. All it takes is many small individual donations. If you would consider financially supporting a specific book project or giving to finance the work of one of our team members, you can choose from amongst our current projects , or give to support the work of any individual member of our transcription and translation team. As Proyecto Nehemías is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit ministry, all donations are tax-deductible.

On a personal note, in 2016 we moved to Chicago from Chile as a family so Jeff could begin a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies at TEDS. We also have a wonderful new church family at Holy Trinity Church (HTC) in downtown Chicago.
